It's difficult for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

We're talking about the unit that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to another six T20 titles, and once went 1,294 days undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a squad that has achieved everything.

That it took as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, taking back their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over five decades.

When she was dismissed the team needed 66 more at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Pursuing 330 is uncharted waters so I am glad we have the confidence to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, should it happen, we know we can do it."

Those words will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this tournament need to hear.
