The Soldiers Table Unveiled
The latest chapter finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of characters who will separate from the central cast to begin their own adventure, distinct from the additional parties.
The Soldiers table includes the determined fighter (played by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).
The Reason for Division
Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at a single group would be impossible.
That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, connecting the characters’ stories before dividing into three distinct groups: Fighters, Planners, and Questers.
The Nature of the Warrior Group
According to the DM, the warrior group is for adventurers who prefer a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are rare.
Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might look unsuited, but the actions of the third episode show why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.
Motivations for Departure
First, the group knows exactly where to head next after a violent first encounter with the antagonists.
An old friend of Thjazi—whose demise started the narrative’s action—used the foes for his selfish purposes, breaking into the hidden lair, attacking the character, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.
Casimir then cleared his obligations and fled to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, north of the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.
Personal Motivations
Additionally, each character has a specific drive to exit the metropolitan area:
- The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, wants retribution.
- The adventurer knows Timmony and cautions that it is a dangerous environment.
- Tyranny and Wicander, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
- However, their position as prominent individuals in the influential clan could assist the party reach places they usually can’t.
- Additionally, The grateful character vowed a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.
Wanted and Hunted
Lastly, all of them are hunted by the authorities that govern the setting for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:
- Thimble and The hero are known criminals.
- The strong figure and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
- Teor is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.
This results in them few options but to head to the northern region in search of the traitor.
